How to Change Your Login Credentials (Email & Password)?

Hey Champs! Sometimes we forget our passwords or want to make them stronger, and other times our email accounts may get shut down or hacked. For any of these instances, we’ve got you covered. You can change your email ID and password for your Social Champ directly from the platform. This guide will show you how. 

Let’s get started!

Changing Your Email Address

1. Login to your Social Champ account and head on over to your Account Settings by clicking the dropdown on the top right associated with your profile picture.
   
2. Then click on the ‘Email’ option in the menu on the left.
   
   
3. On this screen, you can enter the new email you want to use with your Social Champ account. You’ll need to enter your password, too, to verify the change. There’s also an option you can select to update the new email address as your billing email. Once done, simply click the ‘Change Email’ button.
   
   
4. After that, you’ll receive an email at your updated email address to verify the new email address. Once you do this, your Social Champ will be accessible via the new email address.
   

Changing Your Password

1. In the ‘Account Settings’, you’ll find a Security option in the menu on the left. Click here to proceed to the password-changing screen.
   
   
2. In the security settings, you’ll see a box titled ‘Security Settings’. Here, you can enter your ‘Old Password’, ‘New Password’, and then ‘Confirm the New Password’. Once done, click the ‘Reset Password’ button to confirm the change.
   
3. If all the entered values match, your password will be changed successfully, illustrated by a notification on the top right.
   
   
4. Alternatively, you can also change your password from the login screen in case you’ve forgotten it. Simply navigate to the login screen and click the ‘Forgot Password?’ button under the Sign In button.
   
   
5. You’ll be prompted to enter the email address associated with your Social Champ account in order to receive a password reset link. Enter the email address and click ‘Send’.
   
   
6. This is what the email you receive will look like, and you can click the link or the button to continue to the password reset page.
   
   
7. Once on the Reset Password page, you can enter a new password and confirm the new password. Then click the ‘Reset Password’ button to confirm the change.
   
   
8. If all the values match, a message will be displayed verifying that your password was changed successfully.
